June 10th – A few weeks back a few members set out on an early Saturday morning ride – yes 7am not 8 and headed north to Belfountain. None of the big TR hammer-heads (or heads of state as Liggett would call them) were out so we enjoyed a nice easy pace ride north. I think it was driving Bill a little crazy.
Nevertheless, Adam Lentini, Doug Ohori, Paul Devries, Ivar Grimba and me, Freddy enjoyed a great ride, both on 6th, through Glen Williams. Crossing Mississauga Road heading east on King we bump into other fellow TR’ers, Erik Jensen and Tim Peters (Erik was wearing the right colours that day). We continued east on King to Chinguacousy Rd, went north and a quick east on Boston Mills Rd and then North again on McLaughlin Rd through Inglewood. We chose to take take the gravel route viaThe Grange Rd and hook up with the Forks of the Credit rd for what i believe is the most spectacular section of road leading up to Belfountain.
Once we arrived even more TR’ers arrive – Larry Optis and Maz show up and all we enjoyed the new general store’s fine espresso!
On the way back you can imagine the fun we had, downhill, with a slight tail wind and smiles all around. What a great ride!
