Ride ability is rated from 1 – 5

3 – Wheeler – comfortable in a group ride, happy to sit in

Tuesdays
Sunrise! – check exact times in Google Calendar

85-95km   Mix of FAST/MEDIUM paced riders (shorter early in the season and in the fall)
We start together and after 20km or the pack starts to break apart. Route typically heads out on Lakeshore Rd west through Oakville and Burlington and loops around Waterdown and returning on #2 Sideroad and Lower Baseline.

NOTE: With the mix of riders, this ride tends to splinter after the first 20-25km as the pace quickens. Faster riders will add on extra distance so that the group can end at approximate the same time. There are other riders that go out and back and reduce the ride distance to 60km

Tuesday Newbie Ride  6:30pm Start

40-6-km   MEDIUM/SLOW paced ride.
This ride will be enforced as an easier pace ride by the weekly ride leader. Anyone participating wanting to up the pace will be encouraged to ride ahead away from the group. Emphasis of this ride will focus on developing skills for proper group riding, general awareness and safety skills and basic road bike handling skills.
